Modules

Stock Transfer Module

This module provides GRN, GTN facilities that branches use to issue when stocks are transferred. The system will record, track and provide printing facilities to these documents.

Stock Request Module

Placing GRQs to the head office and head office issuing GTAs are handled by this module.

Purchase Order Module

This module provides the facility to compare supplier prices and the GRQ quantities to prepare Pos and track their relevant GRNs and progress.

Purchase Order Tracking Module

When a Purchase order is place the GRQs relevant to the purchase order and the relevant service orders are tracked with the PO. So when monitoring progress this module provides forward and back ward tracking of the PO s.

Stock Adjustment Module

When Extra stock values get in to the system from cut out and leftovers, the accountant is provided a tool to dispose the extra stock figures from the system to balance stock. This way, the system stocks will be balance d in a authorized way from all the branches.

Goods Inspection Module

When suppliers ship goods to stores with a DN, the store keeper inspects the goods and prepares a GRN with the inspection sample sizes and rejected quantities. So the report is prepared for supplier appraisals.

Request Tracking Module

When a branch request goods its GRQ is tracked to the GRN the the goods was received. This way the branches get to know the progress of its GRQ and they are able to make dissections on the request. 

Daily Stock Issue and Usage Module

Daly issues to teams and usage of goods are viewable throw this module. A branch vise daily transaction report is generated containing all stock related transaction details.

Branch Management Module

This module provides the facility to create, deactivate, transfer branches as needed.

Branch Inventory Database

Local Inventory database is maintained at stores for monitoring daily issues and returns. This database provides fail proof against failure of the ADSL connections.

Online Branch Inventory Database

The main database is maintained online and all stock and inventory values are stored in this database. The database is directly accessible to the head office and the system is monitored from the head office.

Supplier Management Module

Supplier database is maintained with contacts and goods. Supplier appraisals are generated in relevant to GRN inspections.

Quotation Management Module

Supplier quotations are maintained in respect to the goods they supply. These figures are used in preparing Purchase orders and compared against each other.

Stores Management Module

Stores are given with their local inventory and tools to accept GRNs and Provide GTNs to suppliers and other branches. The stores management module provides the necessary goods issuing sand receiving tools for daily stores operations.

Goods Repair Module

This Module provides the stores with the facility on providing the stores with the ability to send goods and equipments for repairs to the suppliers. The repair notes are printed and recorded in the system and the head office is notified.

Dynamic Branch Management

The system allows branches to be added and removed as needed. The created branch will be immediately functional and other branches are able to interact with it immediately.

Mirrored inventory figures

Inventory figures are maintained on both locally at branches and on line in a central data base . this provides fail proof operations for branches.

Team Stocks

Goods, and equipments issued to teams are listed and maintained until reported for use or returned to the stores.

Bobbin vise Inventory tracking

Cable and other length based items are track bobbin vise so the lengths are maintained accurately.

Per second Inventory Figures

The branch inventories are instantly accessible from the head office.

Central Stock Transfer management

All GTNs and GRNs are reported to the head office and they are tracked under GRQ, GRA and Pos.

Canceling GRN/GTN and other transactions

All inventory transactions are able to be canceled if not confirmed.

Customers Service Order history

Customer profile s are maintained per phone number so all service orders are tracked under a single number.

Role based User Accounts

Users are assigned to branches and user roles and rights are assigned to them according to the nature of their work.

Fail Prof Distributed Architecture

If ADSL Connections fails the branches will still be able to manage their sores using the local inventory database. The system will be updated when the ADSL connection is restored again.

Reliability

The web servers are maintained on raid servers with mirroring and hourly backups, and failover are implemented in the server side. Therefore, it is much more reliable than an in-house PC.

Open Software Platform

The system is implemented on Linux, Apache, PHP and MySql (LAMP) Platform with is open platform that doesn’t have any proprietary royalty fees. Therefore, the system does not include extra costs incurred due to licensing.

The system does not need a special installation in the client computer. The system can be accessed using any web browser software such as, Internet explorer, Firefox etc.
