Lithium Pen Pal is a Co-Antivirus software that is designed to support people in Sri Lanka to who has to wait for virus definitions for a long time until foreign companies create definitions to the Sri Lankan virus pool. Viruses are programs written by software criminals who intend to ruin your day by restarting your PC to stealing your credit card number from your browsers cache. Lithium Pen Pal promises quick updates on virus definitions and the smooth run of your systems. You can use Lithium Pen Pal to defend your PC against computer viruses and other various threats that can make your system slow, unreliable or unusable.

Viruses are software written by computer criminals to screw-up your day by sabotaging your daily work or giving remote access to your PC and stealing your private documents and data, exposing them to unauthorized personal etc. There are so many threats to worry about when your computer is not protected and that?s when Lithium Pen Pal fits in to the picture.

When infection is found Lithium Pen Pal will backup, quarantine, clean or delete as necessary to disinfect the virus from your system. It will immediately stop the harmful activity carried by the virus programs and neutralizes them.

Lithium Pen Pal provides recovery tools that are useful when your system tools are effected by viruses and probably unusable.

Lithium Pen Pal was developed by a collage student of National Institute of Business Management Sri Lanka around April 2007. The software was initiated as a individual experiment and due to proven success of 8 months of alpha testing at NIBM Labs, the NIBM Governing council accepted the software to be up to the standards of the industry and deployed in their premises. NIBM Labs hosted the testing ground for the developer and carries the title to this date.

Today

Lithium Pen Pal started its beta releases on February 1st 2008 and looking forward for a brighter future in antivirus industry, protecting data and saving time of Sri Lankan computer users.

Product Releases

Alpha Releases

Alpha Releases are handed to testing and voluntary personal who wish to contribute in the development of Lithium Pen Pal and contributes in creating the virus definitions. Lithium provides no bonds with any user using any version of any edition of any software of Lithium carrying this title.

Beta Releases

Beta releases are distributed hand by hand throw out the local community for field testing and as a marketing practice witch its registration is locked for a specified beta life time that potential customers would have the opportunity to try out the software free of charge. Lithium provides no bonds with any user using any version of any edition of any software of Lithium carrying this title.

Pre-Releases

Lithium provides exclusive customer support throughout this period, providing virus definitions, patches and documentation on latest trends happening in the world of viruses. The terms are supplied with the release notes of the relevant version.

Post-Releases

When a Pre-Release expires, Lithium will keep providing support for the old version of the software without any warranty and without the guaranty of continuing support.
